When we received the DFEO artwork, our main goal was to ensure the design sat well on polyester fabric. Polyester is a synthetic material that can pucker if the stitch density is too high or if the underlay is not calculated correctly. We focused on keeping the stitch count at 6474, which provides enough coverage to make the colors pop without adding unnecessary weight to the garment.
