The E-DO error code on a Brother embroidery machine typically indicates that there is a problem with the machine’s feed dog. The feed dog is responsible for moving the fabric through the machine during embroidery. When this component fails, the machine is unable to properly feed the fabric, resulting in the E-DO error.

To fix the E-DO error, you can try the following steps:

  1. Power off the machine and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Open the bobbin case and remove any tangled thread or debris from the area around the feed dog.
  3. Check the feed dog to make sure it is moving freely and not obstructed by any debris or thread.
  4. If the feed dog appears to be damaged or malfunctioning, it may need to be replaced. This should be done by a trained technician.

Possible causes for the E-DO error include a malfunctioning or damaged feed dog, debris or tangled thread obstructing the feed dog, or a problem with the machine’s timing.

If you are not comfortable troubleshooting or repairing the machine yourself, it is recommended that you take it to a Brother authorized service center for repairs. They will have the expertise and equipment necessary to diagnose and fix the issue.
